Infection and Inflammation Blood Test

Our infection and inflammation blood test is what you need if you are feeling ill, exhausted, have a fever or are concerned about your general health.

Generally speaking, inflammation is the response of your immune system to an irritant. The irritant might be a microorganism like bacteria, viruses or a fungi that have infected your body. Or it could be a foreign object, drugs and chemicals, radiation, or food and environmental factors such as intolerances and allergies.

In some diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, IBD like Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis the immune system fights against the body’s own cells by mistake, causing harmful chronic inflammations and so chronic diseases.

Inflammation can affect any part of your body and it might come with different symptoms like, loss of functionality, heat, redness, swelling, pain and discomfort. Sometimes, inflammation can be silent without showing any clear symptoms.

That’s why we always recommend our infection and inflammation blood test even if you don’t have any symptoms.
