Food Intolerance Test
We offer a gold standard food intolerance test, clinically proven, with 98% of reproducibility and high accuracy. It is an ELISA blood test of 200 ingredients including wheat, gluten, eggs, yeast, grapes used in wine, coffee, herbs, nuts, fruit, vegetables, grains, fish and shellfish, meat and world cuisines. It is a quantitative analysis with reactivity values of all 4 subtypes of immunoglobulin IgG 1-4.
It is highly indicated in gastrointestinal disorders, like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) like Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. It is essential to know if you have any food intolerances if you suffer from digestive problems, like bloating, abdominal pain or discomfort, constipation or diarrhea.
However, a food intolerance test is also highly recommended if you suffer from migraines, headaches, joint pains, itchy skin, eczema, dermatitis and general skin problems. General, specific, chronic and acute inflammation are all highly associated with the presence of those IgG 1-4 in your bloodstream.

How does it work?
Come along to our practice in Edinburgh. We will need 10 minutes of your time to collect the sample via a finger prick blood test. The results will be available in approximately a week’s time.
