for Your Natural Well-
This is a chromatographic immunoassay with high specificity, accuracy and sensitivity for the detection of vitamin D levels in human blood, as a preliminary analytical determination of 25(OH) vitamin D deficiency.
How does it work? We will need 10 minutes of your time to collect the sample by a fingertip blood prick and in less than 20 min we will give you a result with specific advices to follow.
Why should I take this test? This is an important test because a lot of evidence suggests that adults with deficiency of vitamin D are at risk of bone fractures, Parkinson’s disease, depression, impaired mood, diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and cancer. According to The National Diet and Nutrition Survey almost 25% of the UK population had a serum 25(OH)D concentration below 25 nmol/L, which puts them in a severe deficiency condition with high risk of poor bone health. Part of that 25% of the UK population showed a serum 25(OH)D concentration below 25 nmol/L even in the summer and throughout the year, reinforcing the need to evaluate the vitamin D deficiency status and so the UK population’s health outcome.
